I am an 18 year old senior in high school. You carrying the baby to term in your own part is good. Even if people stared at you and talked behind your back. The right decision relies on the person that is pregnant.
Now I think that you having sex because you were “bored” is never a real reason just to have sex. The reason for sex is to produce and to show love when you are married. Your young and being pregnant can ruin your life. Unprotected sex causes pregnancy and you guys couldn’t go to the nearest drug store and buy a pack of condoms. That’s just being lazy right there. I understand we have urges to have sex but even though it will sometimes win, condoms are a good thing to have when the urge wins.
If my girlfriend was pregnant I would le her decide what she wants because its not my body but I would encourage her to keep the baby and have us as the parents raise her. If she would choose to abort the baby I will be with her decision all the way to the end but I would regret not having the baby born and to be able to say that’s my son or daughter. If she chooses to put the baby up for adoption then I would still be with her all the way but at least I know the baby would be safe and make sure the baby is in a good home that I know s/he will be happy being raised in.
In the end I’m happy with the decision you made. Make sure you think before you do next time and take the responsibility of your actions.
